U6 Munchkins Soccer
Welcome to Munchkin Soccer where children in kindergarten are
introduced to their first year of age-appropriate and
developmental soccer.
The age cutoff for Munchkins is 5 years (younger than 6) as of August
1st before the Fall and Spring seasons.
Teams
This year we have 12 adult coaches and their individual
teams. Teams have no more than 10 players each.
The teams engage in age-appropriate skills and games, such as
- Follow the Leader,
- Red-light Green-light,
- Freeze Tag,
- Dribble Relay,
- Explode,
- Simon Says,
- Last Man Out, and
- Ball Tag, to name a few.
Games
Saturday Games take place at Greenwood Park (across from the Stoneham
Zoo).
Sneakers and uniform required at all games. No jewelery is allowed
during games.
Games are played at 2:00-3:00 and 3:30-4:30 on Saturdays.
Each game date includes two sessions with six teams on the field.
Check with your coach to find out which session you have.
Game Dates:
- Sept. 16 - Nov. 4
- Rain-out date - Nov. 11 (if necessary)

Soccer is closed for all age brackets. Check back on this website in October
